Welcome to TheRottweiler.net. My wife Barbara and I live in southern Louisiana and have had Rottweilers since 1999.  We are currently members of the United States Rottweiler Club (USRC) and the Praterstrasse Working Rottweiler Club (PWR). Barbara is an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator and belongs to the Visiting Pet Program where she visits hospitals and nursing homes with her companion Nikki.

Our goal is to better the Rottweiler breed by working with reputable breeders that genetically adhere to the FCI standard and trainers that understand the breed. Rottweilers with proper genetics and training are intelligent, friendly, healthy and loyal companions. There are many sporting events to participate in ranging from confirmation, BH, BST, and Schutzhund.

I invite you to visit the USRC and PWR Clubs (see Clubs). Members vary from experienced members and breeders to those just getting into the breed. You will also have the opportunity to show your dogs and participate in club sporting events.
